A Chinese Proverb

A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.

Bob said from the beginning of this journey that if we were going to adopt again it would be Bo. We never dreamed that God would choose to make him a part of our family. We started receiving photos of Sam soon after Shaun and Kim took him to foster in the fall of 2004. Melissa, a missionary in China, would send us updates on how tiny little BoBo was doing and we were absolutely enchanted by the little guy. On 02/14/05 I wrote in my daily journal, " This little face has captured my heart. Even more than mine, Madeleine loves little Bo. It is as if she knows him somehow." Not long after this entry Mitchell asked that "If Bo needs a family, why couldn't it be ours?"

The beginning...

On July 1st, 2004 a tiny baby entered the world in a large city in China called, Tianjin. This precious little life was intended to touch the lives of MANY as he began his journey through life. He was named Lu Wen Bo.
