Bob has taken up making fresh salsa and guacamole...it is so amazing! A real treat. Try it...it is not as hard as it may seem!



Sunflowers will cheer ANY room up...these grace our counter and I smile each time I pass them!



Fresh fruit at this time of year tastes as good as it looks! A real treat.



My honeysuckle is blooming beautifully...this one is called "Pink Lemonade."



Sam has a birthday coming up and the name of the game is LEGOS! Oh my! We are looking forward to partying with our little guy!!!!!

We found a hand print in the concrete on a walk and tried it out.


I had a "milestone" birthday last week...it was fun thanks to Bob and some great plans. Aren't my streamers festive? I will tell you that what was IN those boxes was DELICIOUS!

I was TOTALLY entertained by Gizzie's Cat Antics on our walk the other day. She always comes along.

Aaaaaaa.....S U M M E R.....

Our FIRST official week of summer is done. We were able to relax and kick back a little after a WHIRLWIND of CRAZY activity.

RELAXING with coffee in our favorite hang out/cafe'. This place has organic coffees with names like, Love Buzz and Body, Mind and Soul. Whats NOT to love!



Had to take a photo of my new kicks. I often TALK about something I am going to buy and never buy it. My sweet Hubbie got these for me...I have TALKED about buying them for MONTHS. Thank you.





Nothing FANCY in this cafe'...some funky lamps make it a warm atmosphere for chatting and enjoying good company...



Local artists display/sell their art in the cafes. This is a NEW one on the wall this week...it is called "Jazz on the Beach." We have musicians at The Glen...saxophones, trumpet, piano...wonder if I could talk Sam into playing the acoustic bass...


Sitting with my best friend in the window seat talking about the different people that are passing by...SWEET BLISS.

Arch Enemy

This tree may appear to be like many trees you see but it packs a punch...


Getting closer you may admire the vine growing UP this tree...


But keep getting closer and let me tell you that it is not a friendly vine...do NOT touch it...



It is Toxicodendron radicans, better known as POISON IVY!!! With our early and WARM spring it is growing in ABUNDANCE at The Glen and attacking with great gusto! I am determined to see its demise!!!!!

Cookies AND Milk!

We have been on a roller coaster of activity as Nate graduates from high school! Nate is NOT a big cake eater and he requested his favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies. A MilK & Cookie party evolved from his request and we had a very good time putting it all together! What a beautiful day we had to celebrate this milestone!
