Shaun and Kim

Shaun and Kim are special people in our lives as they are Sam's foster parents. They are American, but live in Tianjin and have had Sam with them since he was three months old and only three pounds. When Sammy came to them he was not in good health. He needed intense care as a premature baby. We are so grateful that God chose them to care for Sam.

Why?

On the street I saw a small boy,
cold and shivering in thin clothes
with little hope of a decent meal.
I became angry and said to God:
"Why did you permit this?
Why don't you do something about it?"
For a while God said nothing.
He later replied, quite subtlely
"I certainly did do something about it,
I made you."
